EANGWV is proud to announce the 2026 EANGWV State Conference and Enlisted Professional Development Summit, taking place 15–17 May 2026 at Camp Dawson in Kingwood, West Virginia.
This first-annual event brings together Soldiers, Airmen, senior enlisted leaders, and families for a focused weekend of leadership development, legislative engagement, physical readiness, and mission-centered professional growth.
A Summit Built for Enlisted Leaders
The Enlisted Professional Development Summit is structured around one objective: strengthening enlisted leadership across the West Virginia National Guard.
The weekend will include:
- A Legislative Summit highlighting issues impacting Guard pay, benefits, readiness, and force structure
- A Senior Enlisted Panel and Speed Mentoring session featuring state and national-level enlisted leaders
- Professional development sessions focused on readiness, lethality, and leadership effectiveness
- A competitive PT challenge designed to build esprit de corps and resilience
- Soldier-focused vendors showcasing tactical equipment, training resources, and wellness solutions
The event is open to members of the WV Army National Guard, WV Air National Guard, and their families in a professional, family-friendly environment.
Golf Tournament Kickoff – Friday, 15 May
The summit weekend begins Friday, 15 May with a Golf Tournament Kickoff, creating an opportunity for networking, camaraderie, and connection across Major Commands before the main summit events on Saturday and Sunday (16–17 May).
More Than a Conference
While this weekend includes the official business of the EANGWV State Conference, the Enlisted Professional Development Summit expands beyond governance.
This event is about:
- Investing in the next generation of enlisted leaders
- Building relationships across Major Commands
- Strengthening our voice on legislative matters
- Connecting service members with resources that directly support mission success
As EANGWV continues advocating for enlisted personnel at the state and national levels, this summit represents a new standard for professional engagement in West Virginia.
Lodging and Attendance
- Barracks lodging is available at no cost for military attendees (space limited).
- RTI rooms may be booked directly by calling 304-791-7001 at a rate of $53 per night.
Registration is free for attendees and volunteers. Soldiers and Airmen attending in a professional development pay status may register accordingly.

EANGWV is partnering with mission-relevant vendors and sponsors to enhance the experience for attendees. Tactical gear providers, fitness and wellness organizations, financial services partners, and education and veteran-support organizations are encouraged to participate.
